Echoing Scream Stone

This smooth, dark stone resonates with a faint echo, mimicking the sound of trapped screams when squeezed. Once per day, when you crush it in your hand and yell, it projects a wave of disturbing noise that can impose disadvantage on the next attack roll made against you or your allies within a 30-foot radius for the next round. However, in addition to protecting you, its unsettling sound also attracts attention, potentially alerting nearby foes. Furthermore, any creature that hears the echo must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or be frightened until the end of their next turn, but doing so may leave a lingering taint of madness, requiring the user to succeed on a DC 10 Wisdom saving throw lest they suffer nightmares during their next long rest.
