Choir Signal Fragment Data-Slate

A cracked alien data-slate recovered from the scavenger captain, later revealed to hold a fragment of Choir signal. Once per day, its bearer may cast the Detect Magic spell through the slate's display; when the slate detects magic aboard the Meridian, the FTL core's aura appears as a vast, distant spiral. The slate also contains the beacon's origin coordinates and a partial redacted crew manifest—entry seven.
