This intricately crafted mask, adorned with vibrant colors and an ever-smiling visage, grants the wearer the ability to charm creatures around them. Once per short rest, the wearer can cast the Charm Person spell (DC 15) as a bonus action. However, those charmed by the mask find their emotions amplified; they become excessively joyful and vulnerable, imposing disadvantage on Wisdom saving throws against fear effects. The mask itself is made from the flowers and essence of the Feywild, collected by The Smiling Man during a season of revelry and crafted during a twilight celebration where laughter and enchantment danced in the air. Beware, for while the mask may bring joy to friends, it could also cloud their judgment, leading to reckless behavior when it is most perilous out in the world. Also, the mask has a lingering effect—after using its charm ability, the wearer must make a DC 12 Wisdom saving throw. On a failure, they become increasingly drawn to acts of mischief or shenanigans for the next hour, possibly placing themselves and others in comically dangerous predicaments.
