1. Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and account credentials. We also process operational data required to run the app, including account status, generated content metadata, anti-abuse data, and security logs (including IP address and user-agent information where necessary).

We process generated content you create in FableFiesta so we can provide and maintain the service. We also process billing and subscription data through Stripe for paid plans.

We use anti-abuse and analytics tooling, and we may process ad attribution identifiers (for example, gclid/fbclid) when they are provided.

2. Product Scope and Content

FableFiesta includes writing and worldbuilding products, including generators and tools such as Story Forge, D&D campaign tooling, character generation, language generation, monster and item generation, and related creative utilities. Content generated in your account is stored to provide core product functionality.

Demo Content: Public demo content can be visible without registration. Demo content is not treated as private account content.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Provide account access, authentication, and email verification.
• Deliver product features and store generated content linked to your account.
• Send transactional messages (verification, password reset, billing/service notices).
• Prevent abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access.
• Process payments and subscription lifecycle events.

4. Marketing Emails and Consent

By creating an account, you agree to this Privacy Policy and Terms as presented during registration.

We currently support two separate email-marketing categories:

• Product re-engagement emails about similar Fable Fiesta features and services. At registration you can object immediately, and every such email includes an unsubscribe option.
• Exclusive deals and offers, which require explicit opt-in.

These preferences are independent. Product re-engagement emails are managed on an objection basis, while exclusive deals and offers are managed on a consent basis. You can change either preference at any time in your account management page or by using unsubscribe links in email messages.

We keep preference and consent records, including time, source, and policy version, to demonstrate compliance.

5. Legal Bases (GDPR)

• Contract: account creation, login, and core service delivery.
• Legitimate interests: security, fraud prevention, service reliability, and operational diagnostics.
• Legitimate interests or soft opt-in where permitted by applicable ePrivacy rules: product re-engagement emails about similar services, subject to a clear right to object at registration and in every message.
• Consent: optional analytics/marketing tracking and exclusive deals and offers.
• Legal obligations: financial and regulatory record-keeping where required.

6. Sharing and Processors

We do not sell personal data. We share data with processors only where needed to operate the service, including payment processing (Stripe), email delivery infrastructure, analytics/tracking providers, and our consent-based email automation provider.

We may disclose data where legally required (for example, legal requests or enforcement actions).

7. Retention

We retain personal data for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security. Security logs are retained for limited operational windows unless longer retention is required for legal or security reasons.

8. Your Rights

9. Cookies and Tracking

We use a consent mechanism for optional analytics/marketing scripts. Necessary-only mode does not enable optional analytics or marketing trackers. You can change your preferences by clearing consent cookies and setting your preference again.

We apply technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to risk. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we continuously work to protect account and service data.

11. Terms and Conditions

• You retain ownership of content you generate in your account, subject to applicable law and this policy.
• FableFiesta provides AI-assisted drafting and creative support output that may require user editing and review.
• You are responsible for your use of generated output and compliance with applicable laws.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes are reflected via an updated "Last Updated" date and may be communicated by in-app notice or email where appropriate.
